Isaac Kearney has captured the hearts of Liverpool supporters across the world with his admiration for the club and heartwarming relationship with the players. The six-year-old has a rare genetic disorder, meaning he develops at a slower rate than other children his age.

His love for the Anfield club’s players has been reciprocated and clips from the official Liverpool FC pages often show Isaac at Anfield or at the AXA training ground in Kirkby being high-fived by members of the team. He already had a huge social media following after videos of him singing Liverpool songs with his toy guitar went viral, but now has over one million followers on TikTok.

In a video posted to X and Instagram last night (Monday), Isaac was treated to a visit by a special guest at his own home. The post uploaded to the official Isaac Kearney account showed a video of him and Jamie Webster singing together with their guitars. The adorable clip shows Isaac belting out ‘This Place’.

the caption stated: “As if the last few months haven’t been crazy enough… Look who turned up at our house tonight to have a singalong with Isaac. Isaac was more star struck meeting Jamie than he was meeting the team. So grateful to watch another dream come true.”

The uplifting message continued: “Isaac has been watching Jamie online since the age of 2 years old. So you can imagine just how shocked he was tonight when he turned up. Another magical moment for the Kearneys.”

Isaac’s mum Melissa has previously spoken to Liverpool FC. She revealed the family has been inundated with messages of support, including from fans of rival clubs, celebrities such as Stormzy and Khloe Kardashian, and parents of children with the same condition as Isaac.

The young superstar has Wolf-Hirschhorn syndrome, which is a very rare genetic disorder. His mum told Liverpool: “It was also particularly pleasing to hear there’s been a five-year high in Google searches related to Wolf-Hirschhorn syndrome. It’s a very rare condition and the more people that know about it the better.

“This shows the real impact Isaac’s video has had. We’re just so grateful the club was not only interested in telling Isaac’s story, but also then captured it so well. It’s made a real difference to so many.”
