WWE star Bronson Reed has hit out at North Korea’s supreme leader calling for “16 Tsunamis” to reign down on the despot after “Kimmy” allegedly made eating hotdogs an act of TREASON.

As global tensions rise and Kim Jong-Un strives harder than ever to expunge western influences from his country and strengthen ties to Russia, many world leaders await the despotic leader’s next step with bated breath.

But for one 150kg NXT Northern American champion it was the supreme leader’s hit on hotdogs that pushed him over the edge. Nicknaming him “Kimmy”, Reed said the dictator deserved “at least 16 tsunamis ” for his blanket ban on hot dogs. He added: “We stay loving glizzies”, using the American slang for the food.

Hotdogs have allegedly been banned in the region for being too American. North Korea’s glamorous western neighbour, South Korea, has seen a surge in popularity with the classic American food.

However, for Kim Jong Un, the hot dog is a symbol of Westernisation and must be sparked out. He has allegedly made the serving or selling of hot dogs an act of treason, meaning imprisonment or labour camps, according to The Sun. This isn’t the first time he’s ruled out foods. He banned, Tteokbokki a South Korean dish. He also banned Budae-jjigae, a.k.a. Army Base Stew, which is ramen and kimchi mixed with SPAM and American cheese.

Back in the West, Reed, 36, started his career in his home country of Australia. In 2022 the WWE wrestler made a shock return to the game appearing on Netflix’s Raw where he helped The Miz defeat Dexter Lumis in a ladder match.

We may see more twitter rambling from the star as he is now lumped with spare time after an injury. He took to X to explain to his growing group of fans, saying: “Dirt sheets report ankle fracture or injury. I unfortunately smashed my talus bone completely in half, I had it surgically repaired with screws and fragments taken out. Also had some bone marrow taken from my hip and put into my foot.

“Now this means I won’t be at Raw Netflix Premiere, don’t expect a Rumble surprise, and the biggest loss is no Mania. Please keep up with me on social media at this time. Understand I’ve had a serious injury, undergone serious surgery, and have serious implications from that. It’s not merely a fracture!”

Tweeting to more than 100,000 followers to bring a natural disaster on the leader was certainly a choice considering North Korea’s water-tight censorship and anti-western sentiments. In 2014 North Korean officials turned up at a London hair salon after they saw a poster poking fun at the leader.

The ad in M&M Hair Academy in South Ealing featured the words “Bad Hair Day?” below the Kim’s picture. Barber Karim Nabbach said embassy officials were shown the door and the salon’s manager spoke to the police. The Met Police said: “We have spoken to all parties involved and no offence has been disclosed.”
