Wrestling fans are rejoicing at “big meaty women graps revolution” after the debut of a top female talent. Megan Bayne might not be a household name in wrestling, but her debut for All Elite Wrestling last night has set the world of graps alight.
Bayne, 26, shocked fans by taking part in the first-ever Women’s Casino Gauntlet match on AEW’s special Maximum Carnage edition of Dynamite.
The winner of the bout – which was eventually Toni Storm – will face British-born women’s champion Mariah May at AEW’s Grand Slam even in Brisbane, Australia next month.

And while most of the entrants were top talent already in AEW, such as Kris Statlander and Willow Nightingale, fans were surprised to see Megan Bayne enter.
She had previously wrestled in AEW on minor shows Dark and Dark: Elevation between 2021 and 2023, but had spent the last few years becoming a huge star in Japan’s Stardom promotion.
While in Japan, she won the Goddesses of Stardom Tag League alongside Maika, and won the 2023 Best Match Award for her gruelling battle with now-WWE star and NXT Women’s Champion Guilia.

However, she is now in All Elite Wrestling – although the company has not confirmed if this was just a one-off appearance or a permanent signing.
Regardless, fans were thrilled to see the woman trained by the legendary All Snow make her official debut.
One wrote: “Brother, AEW has Willow, Statlander and now Megan Bayne??? The big meaty women graps revolution is truly upon us!”

And another posted: “Megan Bayne looks like a million bucks .” And a third commented: “The Megasus… Megan Bayne after returning from her excursion. LOOK AT THIS WOMAN. YEAH, SHE LOOKS TO BE ALL ELITE.” Bayne has yet to comment on her appearance, although she has been retweeting praise from fans throughout the morning.
For that stattos among us, Bayne has wrestled 276 matches since debuting in 2017, appearing for several major companies including TNA, Stardom, and now AEW during that time.
