When and were snow is forecast to fall in North Wales and how weather is set to change

A yellow snow and ice warning has been issued for North Wales this weekend. It is set to come into force today at 12pm, lasting until midnight on Sunday, covering the whole of Wales and most of England.

People have been urged to take extra precautions amid the bad weather, with possible disruption, power cuts and potential injuries from slips and fall. According to the Met Office yesterday (Friday), the outlook for Saturday is: “A dry and crisp start but turning increasingly unsettled with rain, sleet and disruptive snow pushing in from the southwest through the afternoon accompanied by stronger winds. Maximum temperature 6 °C.”
