Urgent Walmart food recall issued across 20 states – full list of stores and products

Walmart has voluntarily recalled products in recent weeks, affecting hundreds of stores in 20 states across the country.

Braga Fresh broccoli and chips produced by Frito-Lays were recalled in December, Newsweek reports.

The broccoli was recalled due to Listeria monocytogenes. This can cause potentially deadly food poisoning.

Listeria symptoms can include fever, aching, vomiting and diarrhea. It can be especially dangerous for pregnant women and newborns.

The Listeria was discovered during testing by the Texas Health & Human Services.

The broccoli has been recalled in:

  • Arkansas
  • Arizona
  • California
  • Colorado
  • Idaho
  • Illinois
  • Indiana
  • Kentucky
  • Louisiana
  • Michigan
  • Montana
  • Nevada
  • Ohio
  • Oklahoma
  • Oregon
  • Texas
  • Utah
  • Washington
  • Wyoming

Affect products have the UPC code of 6 81131 32884 5 and a lot code of BFFG327A6.

On the other hand, the Lay’s chips affected by the recall include milk, which is not listed on the packaging.

Only stores in Washington and Oregon carried them. Look out for these products, which have a UPC code of 28400 31041.

Accidentally ingesting milk when you have a milk allergy can cause life-threatening symptoms, including difficulty breathing, a wheeze, shock and lowered blood pressure.
