Urgent 999 police appeal after man goes missing over Christmas

Police have issued an urgent appeal for help to find a man from Hyndburn who went missing over Christmas.

Andrew Greenhalgh was last seen on Alexandra Street, Clayton Le Moors, at 2.45pm on Sunday (December 22). He has not been seen since.

The 34-year-old has links to Clayton-le-Moors and Rawtenstall. He is described as being 5ft 3ins tall, of medium build, with brown hair, and a short brown beard.

Officers said Andrew was last seen wearing a green bomber jacket, grey jeans and red trainers. Anyone with information on Michael’s whereabouts should call 999 immediately.

In a statement, Hyndburn Police said: “We need your help to find Andrew Greenhalgh who is missing from Clayton Le Moors, Hyndburn. Andrew, 34, was last seen on Alexandra Street, Clayton Le Moors at 2:45pm on Sunday 22nd December.

“Andrew has links to Clayton Le Moors and Rawtenstall. He is 5ft 3in tall, of medium build, with brown hair, and a short brown beard.

“He was last seen wearing a green bomber jacket, grey jeans and red trainers. For immediate sightings of Andrew, please call 999.

“If you have any information as to where he might be or previous sightings, call 101 quoting log 2 of 24th December.”
