A man ‘with an Irish accent’ is being sought by police in the UK in connection with an alleged burglary.
Officers have called on the public for help in tracing the whereabouts of 25-year-old Jimmy Connors. Warwickshire Police say that Connors, from Luton, is wanted in relation to an alleged burglary which occurred in Rugby.
No details of the incident have been provided but detectives have urged anyone who has seen him to ‘call 999 as soon as possible’.

Connors, who is said to have links to Derbyshire, Leicestershire, and Essex, is described as 5ft 8in of a slim build, blue eyes and light brown hair. Officers say he speaks with an Irish accent.
A Warwickshire Police spokesperson said: “Jimmy Connors, 25 from Luton, is wanted in relation to a burglary in Rugby. Connors has links to Derbyshire, Leicestershire, and Essex.
“He is described as 5ft 8in of a slim build, blue eyes, light brown hair, and an Irish accent. If you see Connors, call 999 as soon as possible.
“If you know where Connors is or can help us locate him, you can make a report through our online web portal, by calling 101, or anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. The investigating officer is DC 1214 Stather.”
Meanwhile, a separate appeal was issued last month by police searching for a man who ‘is described as having an Irish accent’ in connection with an alleged robbery at a Surrey racecourse.
According to police, the victim said she was walking through the market at Kempton Park racecourse at about 1pm on Thursday, November 28 when a man made her remove her high-value watch before he made off on foot
The suspect is described as a White man in his 20s around 5ft 8” tall, with a medium build and brown hair. He was wearing a grey/blue tracksuit with a black gilet, and a snood covering the bottom of his face. He is described as having an Irish accent, police said.
Police are looking to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or have any further information which might help our investigation. Anyone who has any information is being asked to contact Surrey Police.
