Two teens among three charged after ‘disturbance’ in Co Antrim

Two teenagers are among three people charged by police following a “disturbance” at a property in Antrim.

The teenagers, aged 19 and 17, and a 44-year-old man are set to appear in court later this month after the incident which took place in the Seacash Drive area of the town in the early hours of Thursday, 2nd January.

A spokesperson for the PSNI said: “Three people have been charged to court following a disturbance at a property in the Seacash Drive area of Antrim in the early hours of Thursday, 2nd January.

“A 44-year-old man was charged with disorderly behaviour and resisting police, while a 19-year-old man was charged with two counts of assault on police, disorderly behaviour and resisting police.

“A 17-year-old boy was charged with assault on police, criminal damage, disorderly behaviour and resisting police.

“All three are due to appear at Antrim Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, 28th January.

“As is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.”
