A man was assaulted during a robbery in the early hours of the morning, police have said. The 21-year-old victim was set upon by three men in the underpass on Castlefield Way in Telford.
The thugs demanded that he hand over his phone and wallet and when he refused, they attacked him. Officers say that the victim’s vape was then stolen before the robbers fled the scene.
Although the victim was not badly hurt in the attack at around 2am on Monday, December 30, he was left with minor injuries. DC Gemma Pagan, from Telford CID, said: “We are keen to speak to anyone who saw three men, all described as white and wearing Adidas tracksuits, in the area around the time of the incident.
