These football stadiums are where fans pay the most for a pint in the UK, with the most expensive priced at a hefty £7.30.
A new analysis of Premier League pint prices, conducted by betting guide company OLBG, has revealed which clubs charge the most for a pint.
West Ham fans face the biggest bill per pint, and Man Utd fans the least.
The West Ham ground at the London Stadium reportedly cost a huge £323 million to build and is where fans pay £7.30 for a pint.
The study analysed both the ‘cheapest’ pint on offer and the estimated revenue per game based on attendance numbers.
It found that the average cost of a pint in the Premier League is £5.02.
However, for West Ham fans, the cost is 45% more. The cheapest pint at the London Stadium is nearly 15% more than the second most expensive stadium – the Emirates, the home of Arsenal.
In a not entirely surprising finding, four of the five most expensive pints in the Premier League are in London, with Leicester City’s King Power Stadium offering the joint third-most expensive pint (£5.80).
OLBG’s study estimated the clubs’ earnings per match day and over a season, taking into account the cost of a pint.
On a typical matchday, Premier League clubs earn £206,629 from pint sales, which amounts to £3,925,956 over a season.
With a large potential attendance and high price for a pint, West Ham’s London Stadium rakes in an estimated £456,250 in pint sales per match day.
Over the course of a season, this figure amounts to £8,668,750.
