Tesco has amazed shoppers with a “beautiful” decorative tree adorned with fairy lights, and it’s on offer – going down from £55 to £38, for Clubcard holders. The faux olive tree stunned social media users after an impressed shopper took to TikTok to show off her find, which she dubbed an “absolute bargain”.
Posting on the platform as @Floraliehome, the eagle-eyed shopper, named Chess, praised the ‘stunning’ decorative tree. “Guys what a bargain with your Tesco club card! I’ve been after a new, big faux olive tree for AGES and this one is perfect and affordable… amazing! Only £38 WITH the fairy lights too!!!” she wrote.
In her video, Chess purchased the tree in-store before taking it home and adding it to a wicker basket. Showing off her new purchase, she explained: “I knew it just absolutely had to come home with me. I popped it in a wicker basket and just pulled out the branches a little bit to make it more wild.”

She continued: “I added a little bit of hessian as well as I thought this looked nicer at the bottom of the pot, and this is how it looks in our hallway. I love it. It was such a bargain, I can’t believe I got this for under £40.”
The final result garnered lots of praise. Someone commented: “Looks stunning.” A second agreed, writing: “I think it looks beautiful and I also think I need one!” Another fan said: “Love it,” and a fourth added: “Hope they still have some.”
Someone else shared: “The trees are excellent, I replaced the lights tho as I didn’t want to be lifting out of basket to turn on/off so bought remote control ones.” Chess replied: “Good idea.”
One more commented added: “I bought this tree and was fed up keep lifting it off the floor to turn the lights off, thought they’d be on a timer. I got lights from garden centre that have a timer and put them on it instead.”
Unfortunately, the tree doesn’t appear to be available on Tesco’s website at this time, so keen shoppers will need to check out their local stores.
