Taco Bell has opened the doors to its second restaurant in Cambridgeshire. The American fast food giant is now located at the Queensgate Shopping Centre in Peterborough.
The chain is one of the most well-known fast food brands across the globe, with more than 7,000 venues worldwide. It offers customers a variety of Mexican inspired foods, including tacos, burritos, quesadillas, crunch wraps and nachos among others.
The opening on December 28 follows on from the one on Market Street, Cambridge in November 2022. It was created by combining two vacant units in the shopping centre.

Up to 36 new jobs are expected to be created in the local area, including 16 full time and 20 part time roles. The restaurant will also provide seating for around 20 people.
The chain joins a number of other popular food options at Queensgate, including Burger King, Greggs, Krispy Kreme and McDonald’s. In an application for the site, it is said that the new restaurant would bring “significant economic benefits” to the city.
The restaurant will be open every day between the hours of 11am and 1pm for the time being. For more information, visit the website here.
