A CCTV image has been released following reports of voyeurism in the changing rooms of a clothing shop in a Surrey shopping centre. Surrey Police believe the man in the image may be able to help with their investigation into the incident.
Officers say they recieved reports of an incident inside the changing rooms of H&M at the Belfry Shopping Centre in Redhill between 1.30pm and 1.50pm on Thursday, January 9. During this time, a woman reported seeing a mobile phone held over a cubicle; at which point a photo was taken. The woman then proceeded to confront a man who refused to delete the image.
Inspector Jon Vale, Borough Commander for Reigate and Banstead, said: “Our officers are making numerous enquiries to identify the suspect in this offence, and we urge anyone who was in the area or who may have knowledge of persons involved to share information.
“This behaviour will not be tolerated and as part of our ongoing work through the Safer Redhill project, we’re committed improving safety throughout the town for everyone to enjoy the area.”
