Surrey Police manhunt after woman assaulted on bus in Guildford

Police are hunting a man after a woman was assaulted on a bus in Guildford. Officers have launched a witness appeal after the assault which took place on the afternoon of Thursday, December 5.

A Surrey Police spokesperson said: “The incident took place on the number 34 Stagecoach bus as it headed into Guildford bus station outside the Friary Centre. The victim reported a man touching her on the thigh.”

According to the the police force, the suspect is a White man who is around 5’10” in height, of a large build and described as balding, additionally he is believed to be approximately 30 years old. At the time of the incident, the suspect was wearing a bright blue rain jacket.

The 34 bus route travels through Camberley, Bagshot, Knaphill, Woking and Guildford. Surrey Police are urging anyone who has information which may be relevant in the ongoing investigation to come forward.
