Subway set for new Leicester outlet with jobs up for grabs

Leicester’s Fosse Park is set to become home to a new Subway branch. Job adverts for roles at the outlet have emerged online, but it is yet to be established where at the shopping centre the branch will stand.

The roles currently being advertised include team members at the sandwich chain’s newest outlet. Subway says they are looking for “friendly and dedicated” staff, with both full-time and part-time positions available.

Subway is also recruiting for several positions at the new branch, with weekend availability required. Recruiters say they are seeking staff who can provide “outstanding customer service” to customers.

Meanwhile, a store manager position is being advertised with a £30,000 annual salary, while team leader roles are available at £12.54 per hour. The positions will involve managing day-to-day operations and supporting the store manager.

Recruiters said some customer service experience is helpful but not essential, as full training will be provided. They added: “If you are reliable, dedicated, and enjoy being part of a team, we would be delighted to hear from you.”

While job listings mention Asda Express in the postings, it’s unclear what role the supermarket will play in the new opening. The closing date for applicants is Friday, February 7. LeicestershireLive has approached Asda for comment.
