Stunned Sauchiehall Street revellers watched on last night as a pair dumped a couch outside a popular nightclub.
Eyewitnesses say that two men exited a building near to bar Nice and Sleazy’s at around 11.30pm on Saturday, January 12, before carrying the furniture across the road.
Bemused door security and punters watched as the two men dumped the once cream-coloured couch near the Garage before returning to the building.
A reveller told Glasgow Live: “Everyone watched these two guys leaving the building and carrying it across the road. It drew everyone’s attention because it looked so weird.
“Folk were looking on trying to see where they would take it because there was a line of taxis so it’s not like they could take it anywhere for it to be picked up. They were also in a rush about it.
“I think everyone was a bit bemused when they realised they planned to just leave it there. Some people started using it as a bench.
“There were two police officers who were wondering about. They asked the bar staff where it had come from and I saw them go to the flat.
“I’m not sure that happened after that but it was still there when we left around 1am.”
Police Scotland have been contacted for comment.
