Police are appealing for information to find a missing boy who was last seen in Surrey. Sussex Police released an appeal on Tuesday, December 31 asking for the public’s help to find a 14-year-old boy missing from Crawley.
The teenager was last seen in Redhill at the weekend. A spokesperson for Sussex Police said: “We are searching for 14-year-old Mujahid, who is missing from Crawley. Mujahid was last seen in Redhill on Sunday (29 December) around midday.”
Sussex Police described Mujahid as around 5’4″ in height with short black hair, he is said to have a distinctive scar on his right hand. The teenager is believed to have links to Surrey, and police have speculated that he may have also travelled to Clacton-On-Sea in Essex.
When he was last seen, Mujahid was believed to be wearing a black Nike tracksuit with white writing on the side of the top and bottoms, a thin black jacket and a black beanie hat.
Sussex Police is urging anyone who has seen the 14-year-old, or may have any information which might help them find him, to get in contact with the force. This can be done by calling 101, quoting the reference 982 of 30/12.
