Ryanair’s seven extra flights from Irish Airport as services increased

Ryanair is set to add extra flights to sunsoaked destinations from Knock as the airport revealed the exciting update this week.

Ireland West Airport announced that Ryanair have added extra seat capacity for the summer meaning that the number of weekly flights will be going up just in time for the holidays.

Sharing the update on Tuesday, the airport unveiled the slew of flights that would be benefiting including Spain and Portugal.

The update read: “Summer 2025 is set to be another busy one at the airport. Ryanair have added extra seat capacity this summer on a number of their services:”

Additional weekly capacity on sun flights:

  • Alicante increases 2 from to 3 per week
  • Faro increases 3 from to 4 per week
  • Malaga increases from 1 to 2 per week

Extra capacity on UK flights

  • Birmingham increases from 2 to 3 per week
  • Liverpool increases from 7 to 8 per week
  • Bristol increases from 2 to 3 per week in April, May, October
  • Luton increases from 9 to 11 per week

Aer Lingus will also have daily flights to London Heathrow for summer, providing seamless onward connections to 80+ destinations worldwide.

This summer will also see the commencement of a new charter service from Groningen in the Netherlands with leading Dutch Tour Operator BBI Travel.
