Budget airline Ryanair has announced a rake of special flights for the 2025 Six Nations Championship in the next couple of months.
On March 14 rugby fans will be able to fly direct from Cork Airport to Rome for the big Italy v Ireland fixture at Stadio Olimpico. So far it’s the only special flight on the list for Cork – but while Dublin is getting 10 extra flights, it’s understood the airline could still add an extra trip or two for Munster fans going through Cork if the demand is there.
You can see the full list of extra flights – totalling more than 6,000 seats – below:
Scotland v Ireland at Scottish Gas Murrayfield
- 08 Feb: Dublin – Edinburgh x2
- 09 Feb: Dublin – Edinburgh x2

The Rome game is bound to be a popular one – so you’ll want to grab your tickets fast. The launch of special flights follows a similar initiative last year when the airline laid on 7,000 extra seats for the 2024 Six Nations Championship.
Ryanair’s Head of Comms, Jade Kirwan said: “The Six Nations is always a highly anticipated sporting event for Rugby fans in Ireland and beyond. To celebrate this year’s Championship, we’ve added over 6,000 extra seats from both Dublin and Cork to key match destinations like Edinburgh, Cardiff and Rome, so that Irish fans can enjoy these matches in-person, witnessing all the action first hand from a stadium seat and soaking up the post-match atmosphere experiencing all these iconic cities have to offer.
Ryanair’s 2025 Six Nations extras are expected to sell out quickly, so book now at ryanair.com to secure your seat for match day.”
