This week there are several overnight closures on main roads across Surrey. While roadworks can quieten down between Christmas and New Years, there are still a number of diversions to be aware of.
While this information is correct at the time of publication, it can change, especially during periods of bad. With snow forecast for the weekend it will be important to keep an eye out for last minute changes.
Closures generally run between 8pm-6am but there is a daytime A3 closure on the list. Take a look below to see what is happening with Surrey’s major highways, the M25, the M3, the M23 as well as the A3.
Thursday, January 2:
A3 northbound road closure from Send to Ockham carriageway. Closed from 9pm to 6am the next morning for maintenance work.
Friday, January 3:
A3 northbound road closure from Send to Ockham carriageway. Closed from 9pm to 6am the next morning for maintenance work.
M25 anticlockwise Jct 9 (Leatherhead) Slip road closure for loop repairs between 11pm to 5am the next morning. Diversion via National Highways roads
Sunday, January 5:
A3 northbound Burnt Common Exit slip road closure from 7 am until 3pm. Diversion via National Highways network.
M3 northbound Jct 5- (Hook). Slip road and lane closure for maintenance work between 9pm and 6am the next morning.
Monday, January 6:
A3 Southbound Jct Wisley Interchange to Jct Ockham Road Carriageway closure for scheme works. It will be closed between 10pm to 5.30 pm the next morning.
M23 Anti-clockwise Jct 8 (M25) to Jct 7 Carriageway and slip road closures for joint replacement works. Closure between 10pm and 5.30 am the next morning.

Tuesday, January 7:
