An inmate who gained notoriety after a video of him having sex with a prison officer went viral was reportedly violently attacked by another prisoner while holding his three-month-old baby.
Linton Weirich, who became infamous last year for a graphic video showing him in a compromising position with married prison officer Linda De Sousa Abreu – a clip that prompted a police investigation – has allegedly been assaulted by a co-inmate at HMP Swaleside. The move to Swaleside follows his departure from HMP Wandsworth in the wake of the sex tape scandal.
According to reports, Weirich is currently serving a four-and-a-half-year sentence for a £65,000 burglary.

During a visitation with his girlfriend and baby, Weirich was reportedly attacked, necessitating medical attention for both him and the child, as confirmed by an informant. Authorities have confirmed that both the infant, who suffered a fractured skull, and Weirich, who sustained head injuries, were taken to hospital.
Meanwhile, a suspect has been identified but no arrests have been made, reports the Mirror.
Following the horrifying incident, the baby’s mother realised her infant was “not responding”, a source disclosed to The Sun. “It was awful for the baby’s mum to witness. To see her child not responding and knocked out is terrifying,” they said.

“The family have been in total shock. They’re really stressed out and worried about the baby still.”
Last week De Sousa Abreu, 30, was handed a 15-month stretch behind bars after she admitted to misconduct in her public duties. The officer had been caught in the sordid X-rated tape, dressed in full uniform and seemingly caught up in a sex act with the inmate.
