Police have issued an update after a woman was arrested on suspicion of murdering a 52-year-old man in Salford. Terence ‘Tez’ Horan was tragically found dead inside a property on Hope Hey Lane, in Little Hulton, on Sunday morning (January 11).
Greater Manchester Police said a Home Office post-mortem found he had suffered injuries consistent with an assault. A woman in her 40s was later arrested on suspicion of murder.
In an update issued this afternoon (January 15), GMP confirmed the woman has now been bailed. Enquiries into Mr Horan’s death are ongoing.
Friends described him as an ‘amazing lad’ with a ‘heart of gold’. Chantelle Holland told the Manchester Evening News: “Tez had a heart of gold, he would do anything for anyone. He really didn’t deserve to die this way. So sad.”
Chelsea, whose partner Karl was a lifelong friend of Mr Horan, said: “They have known each other all there lives, basically like brothers. He was an amazing lad, did anything for anyone, had a heart of gold but most all he could gab your head off. Such a shame, we cannot believe it. He’s gonna be missed so much.”
