Police ‘increasingly concerned’ for young man last seen in Belfast five days ago

Police have issued an appeal for help in locating a 20-year-old man last seen on January 11.

Officers made the appeal via social media Wednesday night, asking the public to help locate Anthony Dornan, who is missing from the West Belfast area.

Anthony is said to be of a slim build with light brown and was last seen wearing a grey hooded jacket and black hat.

A spokesperson for the PSNI said: “Police are becoming increasingly concerned regarding the whereabouts of Anthony Dornan who is 20 years old.

“Anthony is described as 5’8” tall, slim build, pale complexion with blue eyes and light brown hair.

“Anthony was last sighted on 11/01/25 in the west Belfast area. Anthony was wearing a thick grey hooded jacket, black woollen hat, navy/blue bottoms and black trainers carrying a black Nike rucksack.

“He may also be wearing a Gold chain. May also frequent the Newry Area.

“If you have any information regarding Anthony’s whereabouts please contact police on 101 and quote serial number 1146 of 14/01/25. Thank you.”
