Police concerned for welfare of missing teenager

Police are concerned for the welfare of a missing teenager. William, 16, disappeared from his Newport home and is thought by officers to have visited the Neath Valley area. It is understood he may have been in the area since Christmas Day. Officers searching for the teenager are concerned for his welfare and are appealing for anyone who may have seen him to get in touch.

A spokesman for South Wales Police said: “16-year-old William is currently missing from home in Newport. Officers have intelligence to suggest he may have visited the Neath Valley area. A second statement from the force reads: “William is thought to have been in the area since Christmas Day. Officers looking for William are concerned for his welfare and want to hear from anyone who may have seen him or who may know where he is. If you have seen William, or have any information which will help us to find him, please contact us quoting ref: 240042417.”
