Police have issued an appeal for two missing Staffordshire girls – who they believe may have travelled to Rhyl together. Today the force has asked the public for help in finding 17-year-old Paige, of Stafford, and Ella, aged 16 of Rugeley.
Officers are ‘concerned’ over the whereabouts of the pair who are believed to be missing together. Paige was last seen at her home on January 13 at 10pm while Ella was last seen at her home, the following morning (January 14) just before 7.35am.
A spokesman for the force said: “We’re concerned about the whereabouts of two girls from Staffordshire and we need your help in trying to find them. We believe they may have gone by train to Rhyl in North Wales yesterday (January 15).”
In an effort to find them officers have today released photographs and descriptions of the girls. Ella is described as being around 5ft 6in tall, has blue eyes, piercings on her nose and ears and has shoulder-length brown hair which is sometimes tied back. Ella, who also wears rings, was last seen wearing a school uniform and light brown hoodie. She was also carrying a black rucksack with stars on it. Paige is described as being around 5ft 4in tall, of slim build, and with very long dark brown hair and brown eyes.
Officers are not sure what she was last wearing. Anyone who knows where the girls are or has seen them should call 101.
