A new sports bar and pool hall is set to become the latest addition to Hinckley’s Crescent development. The venue, named Ballers Pool Lounge, will occupy the empty unit between Wildwood restaurant and Cineworld cinema.
The establishment will feature live sports screenings including Premier League, European, Championship and EFL football matches say owners. It marks the first venue of its kind in the centre’s nine-year history, with plans to host regular pool and darts tournaments, reports the Hinckley Free Press.
Three Leicestershire entrepreneurs – Adam Dean, Daniel Gunn and Simon Taylor – are behind the venture, which was registered with Companies House in August last year. Plans are now moving forward for a 2025 opening.

In a statement issued online, co-owner Adam Dean said: “We have incredibly exciting news to share! A brand new pool hall, darts, and sports bar will be opening at The Crescent in Hinckley in 2025. We are looking for local community support and businesses to help bring Ballers to life.”
The owners have launched a recruitment drive for bar staff and glass collectors. They are also seeking local pool and darts teams, coaches, food suppliers, live performers and trades people.
