A private jet crew was left gobsmacked after spotting a UFO “zigzagging” at 45,000 feet during a flight to Florida. The Surjet staff were flying over the Bahamas on December 23 when they witnessed glowing orbs zipping through the sky.

One of the flight attendants, along with two pilots, observed the mysterious white lights that turned green and seemed to be enveloped in “electric energy”. The sighting has sent the crew on a mission for answers after the strange encounter.

Cassandra Martin from the crew spoke to NBC News about the incident, revealing that the object accompanied their plane for about 45 minutes before vanishing into the darkness. Air traffic control also reportedly spotted the unexplained object.

The flight attendant said the light appeared to have been surrounded by an electric field

Cassandra recounted: “It started as white and then it just got green and almost like an electric some type of energy around it.”

She continued, describing the moment air traffic chimed in: “All of a sudden I heard traffic control say, we have a foreign object, can you please identify. I looked to the left, and a pilot saw three objects, I only saw one, and I grabbed my phone, I just pressed it to the window to see if I could get a video of what the object was.”

Despite capturing photos, Ms Martin remains mystified by the sighting, reports the Mirror.

Snaps taken by a pilot have left sky-watchers gobsmacked, showing what seems to be the moon but turns out to be white discs encircled by a mysterious electromagnetic field. The pilot was left stunned by the “daunting” flying capabilities of these orbs, which kept pace with her plane at a whopping 44,000ft.

She detailed their movements as “zigzags”, dismissing any notion that they could be drones or weather balloons, which have caused similar mix-ups before. Recently, drones were confirmed at three US air bases across the UK, including RAF Lakenheath and RAF Mildenhall in Suffolk, and RAF Feltwell in Norfolk.

These drone sightings sparked fresh UFO chatter, with locals initially mistaking the lights for something more extraterrestrial. Ms Martin, still reeling from the encounter, admitted she and her crew were shocked, confessing it was “something that you really can’t explain”.

She added: “I think we were astonished, and it was something that you really can’t explain but I don’t have the qualifications to know what that is.”
