Ambulance crews have been called to the scene of a crash in the Black Country. The collision reportedly involved multiple vehicles.
Paramedics were called to the scene on High Street, in Amblecote, Stourbridge, at 7.41am this morning (January 1). Motorists were warned of delays in the area at the time.
West Midlands Roads posted on X/Twitter at 8.26am: “Amblecote High Street, multiple vehicle road traffic collision. Allow extra time to travel.”

A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “We have one ambulance at the scene of an RTC on High Street in Amblecote, Stourbridge following a call at 7.41am.” The ambulance service said it would provide more information when it becomes available.
It’s the latest crash to take place in the region today. Traffic was held on the M6 following reports of a multi-vehicle collision between J14, Stafford, and J15, Hanchurch, on the northbound carriageway. Lanes have since reopened.
