A new snow map shows that parts of the UK could be hit by more snow later this month. There are already forecasts for the white stuff to fall across large parts of the country on January 24.
Now a new advanced weather map from WX Charts shows that there could also be snow on the evening of January 27, reports the Mirror. It shows the Pennines and into the Scottish Highlands will see the heaviest snow.
It does not indicate that sweep as far south to the Midlands, so Coventry and Warwickshire is set to miss out. But, following what has been a mild start to this week, it could be getting colder locally.

The latest local Met Office forecast predicts cooler weather as we head into the weekend. This includes -1C temperatures tonight (January 15) and also overnight frosts.
The forecast for this week into the weekend is as follows:
Today
A grey and rather murky start for some, with fog possible in places and the odd spot of drizzle in the north. Brightening up for many through the afternoon with occasional sunny spells. Feeling mild in any sunshine. Maximum temperature 9C.
Tonight
Clear periods at first, but mist and fog patches developing this evening and more especially after midnight. Colder than last night with some frost possible where skies remain clear. Minimum temperature -1C.
Thursday
Freezing fog slowly lifting into low cloud leading to a dull day for many. Perhaps some sunshine at times in northern and western counties. Not feeling quite as mild. Maximum temperature 8C.
Outlook for Friday to Sunday
Staying generally dry albeit often cloudy with occasional sunny intervals. Feeling chilly with overnight frosts possible and winds remaining light.
