Police officers were left gobsmacked after pulling over a driver and discovering he’d been on the road for 22 years without a proper licence. The traffic stop took place in the Midlands.
Officers from Staffordshire Police pulled over the driver who was behind the wheel of a red-coloured Honda Ja. A photograph from the scene showed the Jazz pulled over on a residential street during darkness.
Officers who were carrying out the stop discovered the motorist had been using his provisional license without supervision since 2006. He also hadn’t displayed L plates – as required by law for provisional drivers – and had never passed his driving test.
