Detectives have issued a CCTV image of a man they would like to identify after an attempted child abduction in Wolverhampton. Police said a man with ‘reddening eyes’ tried to snatch a three-year-old girl when she was in Leicester Street at around 5.15pm yesterday, January 9.
The girl was with an older relative outside a home when the man tried to pick her up. Thankfully, he was disturbed and stopped by the child’s mother.
The girl was not injured. Police said the suspect fled the scene in the direction of Harrow Street.
