A man is set to appear at court today charged with supplying class A drugs.
Police spotted a Peugeot 307 on Wolseley Road on Monday night at around 9pm without its lights on. Officers stopped the vehicle and after arresting the driver on suspicion of driving while under the influence, carried out a search of the vehicle.
A disposable coffee cup, in the possession of the passenger, was searched and inside officers found 18 wraps of suspected crack cocaine and four small bags of suspected cocaine.
The man, aged 28, was arrested and taken to Charles Cross police station custody suite for interview. Last night Kyle Best, of no fixed abode, but from Plymouth, was charged with possession with intent to supply class A crack cocaine and possession with intent to supply class A cocaine.
He was also charged with possession of criminal property, namely around £200 in cash. Best was remanded into custody and will appear at Plymouth Magistrates’ Court today.
