Road closes after car flips on its roof
A man has been taken to hospital after a car flipped on its roof. Emergency services were called to Linacre Lane in Bootle at around 10.45am on Thursday, January 16.
It followed a crash involving a Hyundai and a parked car. A video of the scene showed the silver car on its roof, blocking both sides of the road.
In the clip, taken by an eyewitness, a police officer can be seen at the scene next to the car. The video also shows him talking to passers-by who appear to ask what has happened. Police confirmed the driver of the car was taken to hospital and his injuries are not thought to be serious.
