A man has been charged with attempted murder following a shooting in Birmingham. Jordan Edwards, 31, is also charged with possession of firearms with intent to endanger life and possession of Class-A drugs with intent to supply.
Police responded to an incident Clapgate Lane, Bartley Green, on August 28 last year. The West Midlands force said a man suffered a gunshot wound and another a fractured skull.
Edwards, from Birmingham, was due to appear at Birmingham Magistrates’ Court for a first hearing today, January 14. Kristine Ermansone, 36, was also due in court charged with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life and possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply.

A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: “We’ve charged a man with attempted murder, drugs and firearms offences following an incident in Bartley Green in August last year. Jordan Edwards, 31, from Birmingham, has been charged with attempted murder, possession of firearms with intent to endanger life and possession of Class-A drugs with intent to supply.
“He was remanded to appear at Birmingham Magistrates’ Court today for a first hearing. Kristine Ermansone, aged 36, from Birmingham, has also been charged with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life and possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply.
“She was also remanded to appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court today for a first hearing. It follows an incident on August 28 last year on Clapgate Lane, Bartley Green, where a man suffered a gunshot wound and another man suffered a fractured skull. The two victims are continuing to recover from their injuries.”
