Bridge of Don Retail Park looks set to welcome Superdrug to its range of stores, with plans submitted to the city council for their third Aberdeen outlet.
Superdrug, which currently has more than 800 stores across the UK, currently has two sites in the Granite City at Union Square and St Nicholas Centre.
Collapsed flooring chain Carpetright exited the retail park last year, but the unit could now soon be replaced after plans make changes within the store and additional signage were submitted to the local authority.
New signage above the shopfront’s doorway would be the only major change to the shop’s appearance, along with the familiar bright pink colour scheme.
Park Place Retail had listed the currently vacant 7,827 sq ft unit, with the store now listed as under offer suggesting Superdrug’s imminent arrival.
It would join a range of much-loved brands at the Denmore Road shopping park, including M&S Foodhall, B&Q, Home Bargains, Pets at Home and the Costa Coffee drive-thru.
