Love Island star Curtis Pritchard has splurged on luxury ahead of moving into the All Stars villa. The 28-year-old ballroom dancer will be joined by Gabby Allen, Kaz Crossley, and Nas Majeed, among others, for the latest series.
But just days before the show hits TV screens, Curtis treated himself to a flight upgrade. Spotted at Heathrow Airport, he checked into Virgin Atlantic’s upper-class desk, while his fellow contestants settled for premium economy on British Airways.
According to the Sun, Curtis, who was born in Stoke-on-Trent and still has family in Sneyd Green, upgraded his own ticket to indulge in the finer in-flight experience, courtesy of his own wallet. This luxurious move comes after his initial Love Island stint in 2019, where he famously went viral for making morning coffees in the villa.
Regarding his All Stars stint, Curtis shared: “I feel like I’m in a different stage in my life. The idea of settling down is a serious idea in my life right now. I haven’t found my true love… that sounds so cheesy doesn’t it. So, I thought, let’s give it another go. It was great fun last time; a lot of emotions. I feel excited to go back. I’m going to have a great fun time and hopefully leave with someone. It’s exciting.”
Now, he’s ready to embark on another journey to find love in the villa, and his pre-show splurge suggests he’s feeling optimistic about this second shot at romance. When questioned if his remark haunted him, he responded: “It follows me everywhere! In hindsight, if I do find a girl this time, I will perhaps cuddle her in bed rather than make coffee… so Amy taught me a lesson.”

Curtis reportedly leapt at the chance after parting ways with his girlfriend Sophie Sheridan late last year.
Back in 2019, he initially paired up with Amy on Love Island but eventually made it to the final with Maura Higgins, who he dated for eight months post-show. The former Celebs Go Dating star later featured on Love Island Games and was briefly matched with Lisa Celander. However, their stay in the villa was cut short, being evicted less than a week into the show.
Curtis’ most recent romance was with performer Sophie, whom he is believed to have met during a pantomime production of Cinderella in Wolverhampton in 2021. Rumours of a potential relationship between them surfaced the following year, and reports suggested they reignited their romance after his stint on Love Island Games.

However, it’s Curtis’ ex, Maura, who is most concerned about his participation in Love Island All Stars, especially given her budding romance with Pete Wicks. An insider revealed to The Sun: “Curtis signing for All Stars is more than awkward for Maura just as she’s fallen for Pete and they’ve finally gone public with their love. Her break-up with Curtis wasn’t the best and Maura always worried he’d be the ex that could blab. It’s also less than ideal when she’s hoping to build on her I’m A Celebrity profile and advance her career.”
The Mirror has reached out to Curtis’ representatives for a response.
