L’Oréal ‘glass skin' serum loved by This Morning’s Nadine Baggott is a must for 2025

This Morning’s beauty expert Nadine Baggott has revealed her top beauty predictions for 2025 and reckons ‘glass skin’ is set to still be a huge trend this year – and to get this result, she’s particularly smitten with L’Oréal Paris’ new anti-ageing serum, which has already earned an impressive 4.7 rating from shoppers.

The product in question is the new L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Laser Tripeptides Age-Correcting Serum, available at Boots for £31.99. This serum aims to tackle all major signs of ageing including wrinkles, firmness, smoothness and uneven tone. It also leaves your skin feeling silky and lightweight, making it an ideal base for make-up.

Chatting with Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard on the ITV show recently, Nadine said, “Glass skin is going to be huge, and L’Oréal Paris are just smashing it at the moment. This is their ‘glass skin’ serum and this is a combination of peptides, and peptide works on micro-contractions of your skin.”

For those who are new to the term ‘glass skin’, Nadine explained: “Glass skin is just skin that reflects light and you look gorgeous, and it’s a big, big trend.”

This L’Oréal Paris serum contains dermatologist-approved tri-pepetides: collagen peptide fractions, argilerine and elasti peptides. Nadine explained,: “This has three peptides in and one works on micro-fractions for crepey skin, and a resurfacing acid.

“It doesn’t dry out, it dries down with a sheen; make-up artists are obsessed with it,” reports the Express.

Online shoppers are also raving it, with one customer saying it has made her skincare routine much simpler: “I normally use individual serums and ointments but having them all in this serum makes it so much easier and a lot quicker to get my face ready in the morning. After using it for a few weeks, I noticed my skin feels softer and a lot smoother and as for fine lines, I think they are looking softer (thanks to the argireline).”

Another added that she saw noticeable improvements in just two weeks: “My skin is tighter, plumper and more even in tone. I use it during the night and when I wake up in the morning, my skin is hydrated and my make-up lasts much longer.”

However, not everyone was satisfied, as one shopper expressed disappointment due to the scent: “The serum goes on nicely and doesn’t leave my skin feeling sticky. The only downside is it has started to break me out, so is unsuitable for my skin unfortunately.”

While Nadine has hailed ‘glass skin’ as a top skin trend for 2025, she also made a bold beauty forecast that left Ben taken aback: “I’m already predicting in 2026, [the trend will be] ‘boiled egg skin’ – it’s all come from Korea and your skin is supposed to look like a perfect egg.”

More beauty must-haves that the skincare guru shouted out for 2025 include The Skin Diary Night Repair Therapy, £135, Topicals Faded Brightening & Clearing Serum, £35, and The INKEY List Ectoin Hydro-Barrier Serum, £15.
