A Leicestershire restaurant has been shortlisted in the The Good Food Guide Awards 2025. Restaurant Jericho is the only county-based eatery on the list for the awards, which recognise the best of emerging and established “excellence in British dining”.
Located just outside the village of Plungar, near Belvoir Castle, Restaurant Jericho has been shortlisted for the prestigious ‘Restaurant of the Year’ award. The county eatery sits in illustrious company, with The Ritz Restaurant, in London, among its rivals for the title.

The shortlists for all of the Good Food Guide’s awards have been revealed today (Wednesday, January 8) ahead of a “glittering ceremony” in central London next month.
