Pub-goers in Leicestershire can enjoy drinks for as little as 99p as Wetherspoons launches its January sale. The deal will be available at eight of the company’s pubs across the county.
The promotion will see Wetherspoon pubs cut prices on a wide range of drinks and meals. Customers can enjoy a pint of Worthington’s for 99p, while other ales like Ruddles or Greene King IPA will be £1.29. Wine lovers can get a 250ml glass of Coldwater Creek for £2.49.
The sale includes a selection of low and non-alcoholic options at £1.49, including Guinness 0 per cent, Brewdog Punk AF, and Gordon’s pink gin 0.0 per cent with mixer. Hot drinks including Lavazza coffee, tea and hot chocolate will be available for £1.29 with free refills throughout the day.

Food deals include three burger meals with chips and a drink, priced at £8.75 with an alcoholic drink or £6.99 with a non-alcoholic drink. Breakfast offers start from £2.99, with choices including breakfast muffins with egg, sausage and bacon, traditional bacon or sausage butties, and breakfast wraps. All breakfast deals include unlimited hot drink refills.
Among those taking part in the sale is The White House in Leicester, with its manager Aron Newcombe saying: “Department stores and shops hold their sales in January, so it is the perfect time to have a sale in the pub too. The range of drinks and food on sale in the pub is aimed at suiting a wide variety of tastes. This year we have included our biggest selection of low and non-alcoholic drinks. I believe that the January Sale will prove popular with our customers. As always, staff at the pub will serve customers responsibly.”
