King Charles new strategy to 'deploy' Princesses Beatrice and Princess Eugenie

King Charles is reportedly planning to maintain ties with Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, despite a past incident that led to one of them being labelled a “laughing stock”.

According to Royal commentator Ephraim Hardcastle, writing in the Daily Mail, the King, 76, is “keen” to keep the sisters, Eugenie, 34, and Beatrice, 36, involved in royal events, such as receptions and garden parties.

This change in approach comes over a decade after the pair attended a trade event in Berlin in 2013, where Beatrice was involved in a traffic incident, driving a Union Jack-adorned Mini through a red light.

An official allegedly commented at the time, “This is making us a laughing stock… Better if they b****r off and marry millionaires.”

Twelve years on, both sisters remain in the public eye, alongside their mother, the Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson. Recently, it was announced that Beatrice will attend the World Economic Forum in Davos to discuss the role of private capital in fighting climate change, as reported by The Times.

Additionally, both sisters have been tipped to support Meghan Markle, a former member of the Royal Family, when her new TV show is released. Royal expert Jennie Bond revealed on GB News that she suspects the pair might tune into the show, stating: “I very much doubt they [senior members of the Royal Family wil] watch her show – though Eugenie and Beatrice might tune in,” reports the Express.

Reports suggest that despite their geographical distance, the two sisters have maintained a close relationship with the Sussexes, with Eugenie reportedly delighted by Harry’s alleged property acquisition in Europe.

An insider told Bella magazine: “Eugenie is immensely fond of Harry and Meghan, as is Jack. They’ve always been incredibly close and it’s extremely heartening to them that a wider (peace for the Sussexes) with the royals is finally in sight.”

Another source suggested that the Portugal purchase was Harry’s way of maintaining some connection to senior Royal family members.

They commented: “A bond for Lilibet and Archie with Eugenie’s kids will be the only royal friendship they will have. So time in Portugal – even just for holidays – means that Harry is keeping the only door to the royal family just a little bit open for himself and for the next generation, and raising them as royal children, at least in some way? “

Buckingham Palace has been approached for a response.
