Donald Trump should be free to buy Britain, says Creepy Jeremy Clarkson. The TV presenter said the incoming US President should be allowed to strike a “peaceful business deal” to take control of anywhere he wants in the world – including the UK.
Clarkson, 64, said allowing countries to be traded in a civilised manner would stop wars and give huge cash injections to nations that desperately need them. He suggested the world could have a football-style “transfer window” when any country could offer to buy another.
Locals would be given a vote to decide whether or not to accept – and “if it’s a ‘yes’ a deal is done” he added.

The Clarkson’s Farm host, who has gone to war with the government for hitting landowners with inheritance tax, suggested the UK should immediately flog itself off to the highest bidder.
“Anyone out there want to buy Britain? Anyone? Because whoever you are, you’ve got my vote,” he said.
Clarkson said folk should not be surprised Trump wants to buy Greenland. “It’s also full of minerals that the locals, or Denmark, can’t be bothered to mine,” he said.

“I say, then, that Trump should be allowed to make the Danes – and the locals – an offer. And that for their sake, and the world’s, it would be a good idea to accept it.
“Maybe, then, that’s what the world needs every year. A transfer window when any country can offer to buy another one.
“It’s possible that if Putin had offered to buy eastern Ukraine, rather than invading it, Zelenskyy might have said ‘yes’ and a lot of unpleasantness would have been avoided.”

Clarkson described Trump’s ‘foreign policy goals’ – which he said include annexing Canada, taking control of Greenland, confiscating the Panama Canal and renaming the Moon the ‘Amerimoon’ – as “pretty strong” and “out there”.
It comes as celebrity spoon bender Uri Geller spoke out to offered his island as a US military base to Donald Trump.
In a “serious offer” to the President-elect, Uri pitched his plan to back Trump’s Greenland takeover, urging the islanders to take him seriously. He pleaded with the people of the island to stop “the Russians and Chinese breathing down your necks and controlling you”.
Earlier this month, President-elect Donald Trump expressed his desire to make Greenland part of the United States, calling ownership of the Arctic island an “absolute necessity” and promising to “make Greenland great again”. Trump made his intentions known on his Truth Social platform, and even sent a delegation to the island which included his son, Donald Trump Jr.
