Fans of The Masked Singer are convinced they’ve cracked the case on who is behind the Bush costume. Since the star-studded ITV show returned last Saturday (January 4), viewers have been busy guessing the identities of the celebrities hidden behind the likes of Wolf, Toad in the Hole, Pufferfish and more.
The character of Bush has sparked a flurry of speculation online, with many believing that celebrity gardener Charlie Dimmock is the star beneath the mask. The 58-year-old found fame in 1997 when BBC Two launched Garden Force, also featuring Tommy Walsh and Alan Titchmarsh.
The show was so popular it moved to BBC One within a year, becoming prime-time viewing. Together, the famous trio transformed ordinary gardens into nature-filled havens for individuals nominated by their family or friends.

Since 2016, Charlie has been leading BBC’s Garden Rescue. According to Betway, Charlie is currently the favourite to be revealed as Bush, with odds of 2/1, followed by Stacey Solomon at 5/1.
Actress Billie Piper is the third favourite at 7/1, closely followed by EastEnders legend Natalie Cassidy at 8/1, reports the Mirror.
Betway’s Mike Reading has dished out the latest goss on The Masked Singer UK, saying: “The latest season of Masked Singer UK already promises to stir things up, after week one delivered the show-stopping reveals of Dame Prue Leith, Kate Garraway, and even Sir Mo Farah as Giant Joel, in a twist to the show’s usual format.”

Fans are all over Twitter with their guesses, convinced that Bush is none other than Charlie Dimmock. One user posted: “Bush is Charlie Dimmock? #MaskedSingerUK #MaskedSinger.”
Another was sure: “Bush is Charlie Dimmock! #MaskedSingerUK #maskedsinger”, while someone else added their two cents: “Family saying Bush is Charlie Dimmock but I heard Natalie Cassidy #maskedsinger.”
The speculation doesn’t stop there, with another tweet reading: “Bush – Charlie Dimmock? #MaskedSinger”, and yet another fan betting: “It has to be Charlie Dimmock as bush surely #maskedsinger.”
