Emmerdale aired devastating scenes last year when Heath Hope was tragically killed off.
The teenager died after joyriding a car with twin sister Cathy and Angelica King. The youngsters had been desperate to go to a New Year’s Eve party out of the village but couldn’t get a lift and father Bob Hope refused to pay for a taxi. The trio were left bored at the B&B’s party to which they decided to take matters into their own hands, stealing Wendy’s car to joyride to the party.
At first it looked as though Cathy was to blame for the crash but it was soon revealed that Angelica was the one who had been behind the wheel. Angelica pleaded guilty to death by dangerous driving and she served time in a secure children’s unit.
Heath was played by Sebastian Dowling from 2007 until 2023 with his real-life twin sister Gabrielle Dowling playing his on-screen sibling Cathy.
