A video taken on a Galway road shows the ‘mind blowing’ actions from a driver while travelling through a busy junction.
The video, which was taken at Carnmore Cross just outside the city, was taken from the dash cam and shows the lights turning green as they and the driver in front of them begin to drive towards the junction.
However, as the driver gets to the cross, a car suddenly emerges from the left and drives through the junction in front of the two drivers.
The incident was captured on camera and shared on social media as the user lamented the ‘mind blowing’ actions of the driver.
They said: “This is just mind blowing! Some people couldn’t care less.”
The clip garnered thousands of views on Tiktok, with several people commenting on the incident.
One person commented: “Blessed the Peugot was slow to take off!”
Another said: “That was a close shave!”
Last month, a wild Irish road video captured the hair raising moment a driver avoided a potentially dangerous incident while travelling in the west.
In the video, taken from the car behind, it shows a van driving along appearing to be towing a lift truck in the back, while the video’s sound plays ‘Life is a Highway’ by Rascal Flatts.

The clip continues to when the vehicle comes up to a bend in the road, where suddenly what appears to be a deer dashes from the side of the road towards the vehicle and disappears from sight.
However, rather than meeting a devastating fate, the deer seems to rally and bounce from the vehicle and leaps back to safety by the side of the road.
The scary near-miss was shared on social media channel Tiktok, amassing thousands of views.
The caption of the video read: “Be careful on the Mayo roads, you never know what might pop out at you!”
