Hour-by-hour West Midlands weather forecast for Monday amid ‘deadly’ temperatures

Low temperatures are set to remain into a new week after it became so cold in the West Midlands a health warning was put out. An Amber cold health alert remains in place for the West Midlands , with government agencies warning ‘deaths are likely’.

Temperatures felt like sub-zero for most of the weekend and that is set to continue into Monday morning (January 13), forecasters predict. The Met Office says while temperatures will actually reach 5C at times on Monday, it will perpetually feel freezing or below.

Below we have detailed the hour-by-hour forecast. The Met Office has said about Monday to expect windy conditions with the sun breaking through every now and then.

A Met Office forecaster said about Monday: “Rather breezy on Monday but often cloudy with sunny spells. Feeling warmer than recent days with temperatures nearer normal. Maximum temperature 5C.”

However, with wind chill it will feel much colder. The January cold snap has triggered rare Amber cold health alerts for the whole of England, which have been issued by the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA). Cold health alerts are issued when it’s believed the cold weather poses a risk to people’s health and the health services in the country.
