Hour-by-hour snow forecast for Stoke-on-Trent

Forecasters are predicting hours of ‘heavy snow’ for Stoke-on-Trent tonight. The BBC is predicting the snow will start to fall from 8pm and continue until 4am tomorrow.

The Met Office is offering a similar forecast – with the snow starting to fall an hour earlier.

It comes as two Stoke-on-Trent weather warnings come into force later today.

A yellow weather warning for snow and ice runs from midday today until 11.59pm on Sunday, January 5. An amber weather warning for snow and ice runs from 6pm tonight until midday tomorrow.

The amber warning states: “Snow and freezing rain will likely lead to disruption to transport and other services.
