Harry Hill and Love Island’s Iain Stirling set for Leicestershire comedy gigs

Comedy stars and “thrilling” musicals are set to entertain visitors at Loughborough Town Hall in 2025. The much-loved Leicestershire has announced its lineup for the New Year, with a host of top comic talent including Harry Hill, Ben Elton, Milton Jones and the voice of ITV’s Love Island, Iain Stirling, set to appear.

TV Burp and You’ve Been Framed host Harry Hill is in the market town on Friday, February 28, with his ‘New Bits & Greatest Hits’ show. Ben Elton will bring the ‘Authentic Stupidity’ tour to town on Thursday, February 13, as he explores “humankind’s greatest threat – not Artificial Intelligence but the very real idiocy seen in everyday life”, a spokesman for the town hall said.

Live music at the venue comes from plenty of musicals, with examples such as The Simon and Garfunkel Story coming to the town on Thursday, January 30. Meanwhile, lovers of Elvis can relive the story of ‘The King’ with The Elvis Years on Friday, February 14.

Audiences can get ready for a “big girls’ night out celebrating epic and unforgettable power ballads from the biggest female superstars” in Big Pants Party on Friday January 31. Further into the year, tribute fans can enjoy “incredible vocals” with Luther Live on Thursday, February 27 , hits from Neil Diamond in Hello Again on Wednesday, March 12, and the immortal songbook of Bob Marley in Legend on Thursday, March 13.

There’s also the arrival of the theatrical experience Dracula on Tuesday, February 25, and Wednesday, February 26. To find out more about the venue’s line-up from January to April, head to its website.
