A shop worker was attacked by two masked robbers in Gloucester. The offenders entered the shop on Seventh Avenue, Tuffley, at around 7.15am this morning (Thursday, January 16).
Gloucestershire Police said they hit a member of staff in the face. They then stole packets of cigarettes and tobacco from behind the counter.
The robbers put the stolen items into large containers and before fleeing in a silver or grey Audi A3 at around 7.20am. They had parked up at the shop in the same vehicle at around 7.10am.
The shop worker was checked over at the scene by paramedics but did not need hospital treatment. Investigating officers have now released images of men they would like to identify following the robbery.

Gloucestershire Police said: “Officers are in the early stages of an investigation with house to house and CCTV enquiries taking place. Images of two men police want to speak to in connection with the incident have been released. Anyone who was driving in the area between around 7am and 7.30am today and has dashcam footage of the vehicle is asked to make contact with police.
“Police are also keen to hear from anyone who lives nearby and has any CCTV or information which could assist the investigation. You can provide information to police online by completing the following form and quoting incident 61 of 16 January.”
