Glasgow revellers start Hogmanay conga line in the city centre to start 2025 in style

Hogmanay usually brings joy and celebration to many across Glasgow.

And this year was clearly no different, with revellers in the city centre opting for an impromptu street conga to mark the beginning of 2025. Video footage shared by Grant Arms on Argyle Street shows at least two dozen cheery Glaswegians celebrating outside the city centre pub.

The video, which was posted on TikTok and has Abba’s hit tune Happy New Year playing in the background, has since raked up over 50,000 views, hundreds of likes and dozens of comments and shares.

One person commented: “Very nice to see people enjoying themselves.”
