The new year has brought newfound wealth for two Glaswegians who scooped life changing lottery prizes within days of each other.
The residents, known only as Mr. W and Ms. B, have brought the year in with a bang – making Glasgow one of the luckiest places in the UK.
Ms. B now plans on going on a world cruise after winning a Lucky Dip on the Set For Life draw on Monday, November 25. She will receive £10,000 for a year after matching the five main numbers.
Not to be outdone, Mr. W then scooped an incredible £1 million in the EuroMillions UK Millionaire Maker draw just a day later on Tuesday, November 26, after putting on a Lucky Dip via the National Lottery app.
The pair, who decided to remain anonymous, join over nine million players that win each week on The National Lottery’s range of games.
